This course has been developed for learners in order that they can understand what first aid is, what is not included under first aid, and the law and requirements surrounding first aid. The course will provide information on what classifies as a first aid situation, looking at some specific scenarios, and how you can manage them as an individual who hasn't received formal training. You will understand the role of the qualified first aider and the assistance they may provide to you should you find yourself in such a situation. It will also guide you as to what is available within your first aid kit for personal/individual usage.
